Northstar Bison market and demand is growing, so is our processing capacity, so we're needing to seek more bison supply of select kinds.

We're in search of bison in a few different classes:

• 100% Grass-fed Bison Culls for slaughter
• Looking for open cows and bulls that are ready for market.
• Purchased on the rail by the lb.
• Slaughter openings beginning in April 2026.
• Affidavit signature required
• NON 100% Grass-fed bison for slaughter (not for NSB label)
• Looking for open cows and bulls that are ready for market.
• Purchased on the rail by the lb.
• Slaughter openings beginning in April 2026.
• We have traditionally only purchased 100% grassfed bison, but due to local demand that is not seeking 100% grassfed claim, we are opening slots for grain fed animals to maintain this market and reserve our grassfed supply for other accounts. Looking to buy culls mainly but our rail price may be attractive for primes as well.
